Finally Moved In...

Well, this has been an utterly exhausting week, if I may say so.

Rather fortunately, I had thought to hire some excellent movers (Small Moves, Inc.) -- but rather unfortunately, none of them turned out to be cross dressers this time. I was quite perturbed.

Almost everything is tucked away, except for my dishes and Egg and Napkin. I also still have to clean the old apartment; perhaps I can fake a seizure to get out of the whole business.

Can you believe it took an entire week to regain online access other than at work where I cannot blog?

Other than that, not much else happened except for a party at my friend Debbie's house (where she served my fantabulous lasagna recipe) and a summer solstice party (where I ate the best curry lamb stew EVER and then was rained out when I tried to make s'mores).

Now that I'm moved in to such a cute place, I think I will throw a party.

Tom Robbins is a great writer. His stuff is so off-the-wall.

Crime And Punishment is an excellent book; probably the greatest suspense novel of all time. It keeps you imtrigued to what will happen next.

Have you seen the movie Eraserhead? one of David Lynch's first films. dark and quiet almost to the point of absurdity.

If hockey ever redeems itself, and they actual play again (which could be soon), you should check out a Lightning game at the St. Pete Time's Forum. They have a great team.

If you don't mind how much did the movers cost you? I have to do the exact same thing you did next month when I sell my home. BTW- does anybody want to buy my home?

Wow, all that talk of food is making me hungry.
You're new subtitle really captures the essence of your page, especially the animals without pants. Who needs pants?
Plus the added vitamin C is always good because I dunno about you but I can't synthesize any of my own.

Take your party for a long, long run and throw it about as high as you can. Otherwise clean, if you must.

moos: It may be. If it isn't, it sure looks like one, and it seems like such a useful thing to have around the house.

Kipling Warhol: I must say that you have terribly good taste. And Eraserhead was quite interesting

editengine: the movers originally quoted $408 dollars to me, but it only cost $300. I have some rather heavy bedroom and living room furniture, as well as a few bookcases. However, it was cheaper because I packed the books in boxes myself. The Small Moves people charge for the amount of time it takes, not the amount of stuff.

DLAK: sure! you live in the area?

Comfort Addict: I definitely love my new digs -- and I love the pictures too. I seem to have accidentally started collecting old ads and pinups and things...

extreme unction: thank you, my good man

glomgold: yes, I was truly trying to capture the essence of my blog. maybe I should add something about farting too?

Mr. Anigans: thank you. it is tough to be without online access, but I am sure that it made me a better person in the long run.

Spirit Of Owl: yeah, I think I'm stuck cleaning

Huzzah. I'm three days late and the last to post.
Now that you have a washer and dryer you can clean Egg and Napkin in them. it would be like an exciting mosh pit for them..

Happy&Blue: Egg and Napkin don't like you.

But that's okay, they don't like anyone.

I'm so sorry to learn that Egg and Napkin don't like H&B2. How sad.
Glad you're enjoying your new digs and sure, I'd like to come to your party as well... bit of a drive for me, but I can ... oh wait. You're still in Florida. That means "hot hot hot" at this time of year. Think I'll just send you an imaginary housewarming gift and keep reading your posts instead.

You're so entertaining already, you don't have to come up with ideas for your party... just let them all read your blog.
