The Fountain of Bacchino
For anyone who was bored by my previous post, here is a picture of the world's ugliest statue, The Fountain of Bacchino (behind the Pitti Palace in Florence). It shows Bacchino, the court dwarf of Cosimo I (a very obscure ruler), sitting on top of a large turtle.
I dare anyone to find another statue as ugly as this one.

That statue is hideous! But, how cool would it be to have Bacchino as a friend? Wandering around the city and just watching people shit a kitten?

Here in our fair city of Christchurch, New Zealand, as a tribute to the Queen of England(who apparantly has something to do with New Zealand still), we have a sculpture of her pet dogs eating an ice cream. How regal.

Are you sure that isn't Ted Kennedy? I like Ted, but he has to take his lumps like everyone else. (We can see that in this representation he has more than an appropriate amount of his own lumps.) Happy NY to you, too.

After the prom Bacchino made his chauffeur walk around town while he yelled "Whose the man..Whose the man"..
