Check These Out

A friend of mine gave me a really cool little "housewarming gift": an entire set of vintage Vargas playing cards! I think they're so cheesy and cute that I scanned a few...

I think they are great! A nice gift that's bound to go up in value. I'm guessing these are circa late 40's, early 50's?

It's interesting how Vargas captured one very important component of sexuality: the smile. These women also seem to have a sort of playful demeanor of the Seven Year Itch variety that seems to have disappeared between pornography and political correctness.
